A center dedicated to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Nancy CIC-IT has a specific and national expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It aims at enhancing and validating:

  • New medical devices dedicated to MRI (ECG, compatible sensors, etc.);
  • New acquisition techniques and image treatment in MRI (sequences, reconstruction, post-treatment, etc.).
We also offer a support to implement clinical research protocols that are using imaging (conception, implementation and data processing, imaging data management).

Why is MRI our research topic?

Did you know that MRI is a non-ionizing imaging technique that gathers numerous elements to be evaluated and mastered?

What is MRI?

8 CIC-IT units are spread all over France. They aim at promoting the development of clinical research in hospitals. They were settled in 2008 by INSERM and the DHOS (Directorate for hospitals and treatment Organisation) of Ministry of Health.

Today, lots of innovations are related to technologies (micro technics and surgery, e-health, handicap, etc.) and to highly varied medical disciplines at the same time. Nancy CIC-IT is at the crossroads of industrial, scientific and medical issues, as are all the other CIC-ITs of France.
